Just 20 minutes drive away, Springbrook National Park provides many fantastic options to visit stunning waterfalls, and panoramic lookouts.

If you like long walks, the national park has those, or if you only have time for a short walk or two, there are some great options including the stunning Purlingbrook Falls.

Bush Rangers Cave Walk

This walk starts at the border gate, just 2.5 kms from The Log Cabin, taking you to the Bush Rangers Caves and providing many exquisite views of the surrounding ranges. Keep an eye out for native wildlife along the way!

Beckett Rainforest Walk

This walk winds its way through the rainforest all the way to Natural Bridge, passing by a historic site which showcases an old steam tractor.
Take this alternate route to the Natural Bridge and take in the beautiful surroundings of the area.

Platypus Pool Walk

Just a short walk to the back of the Log Cabin property will take you to the Platypus Pool, where, on a quiet day, you can see these elusive, mysterious creatures that are native to Australian.

Swimming Hole

If you feel like cooling off in the pristine waters, take the short walk to the creek and enjoy this beautiful setting all to yourself!
